Apple Banana Blueberry Yogurt Parfait

It seems like snacks have the potential to steer us wrong unless we prepare healthy options. Greek yogurt is filled with healthy fats, probiotics and is a source of protein, calcium and iron. This parfait is perfect first thing in the morning or as a mid-afternoon fuel boost. For granola, we recommend you select a low sugar option (under 10g per serving). You could also make a very simple granola by coating 1 cup of oats in 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey. You can’t go wrong with this simple, on-the-go friendly recipe the whole family can enjoy together!

Ingredients:

6 oz. plain Greek yogurt

1 pouch Yummy Spoonfuls Stage 2 Only Apple Blueberry Banana

1/3 cup chopped strawberries

1/3 cup blueberries

1/3 cup granola

1 tablespoon hempseed

Directions:

Spoon ½ of yogurt (3oz) into glass jar preferable with lid (mason jar) if this is a ‘breakfast on the go.’

Layer in a pouch of Yummy Spoonfuls Stage 2 Only Apple Blueberry Banana.

Spoon in the rest of the yogurt.

Layer in the chopped strawberries and blueberries.

Top with granola and hempseed.
