Yes, we care about the health of your toddler and the environment. On a pound-for-pound basis, toddlers consume more food than adults and we believe organic is best for developing toddlers. Our food is USDA certified organic. This means the ingredients have been grown according to strict standards (free from synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, ripening agents and fungicides for a minimum of three years) and are certified by independent, third parties. Certification includes inspections of farm fields and processing facilities, detailed record keeping, and periodic testing of soil and water to ensure that growers and handlers are meeting these standards.

Freezing locks in nutrients and flavors at their peak of freshness without the need for preservatives or over-processing. Freezing is one of the most natural ways to preserve food and is similar to what we do at home when storing freshly cooked or leftover food.

While we would love to send samples of our frozen organic food for babies and toddlers to you, the perishable nature of our meals makes it cost prohibitive to do so. Stay connected to know when there may be a tasting in your area or request a coupon by contacting us.

Please store the meals in the freezer until usage. Use within 24 hours of thawing and do not refreeze.

Thank you for noticing! Vibrancy is fundamental to our products- both colors and flavors! We produce our food without the use of any preservatives or additives, including coloring agents. The vibrant colors all come directly from the food. We gently cook our food in small batches and lock-in the natural color through freezing. You can see and taste the difference!

We believe so and use fresh, organic herbs & spices to create our delicious recipes. Every Yummy Spoonfuls’ recipe has been approved by a registered & licensed pediatric nutritionist to ensure they are appropriate for the age group. Herbs & spices enhance the flavor of foods and set baby up for a lifetime of adventurous eating.

In 1998, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed that frozen fruits and vegetables provide the same essential nutrients and health benefits as fresh. It’s no wonder. The freezing process doesn’t dilute the food; it locks in nutrients and flavors without the use of any preservatives.

Yummy Spoonfuls is inspired by the freshly homemade food parents wish to feed their toddlers, but don’t have the time to make themselves. Yummy Spoonfuls starts with fresh organic fruits, vegetables, meats, whole grains and legumes that are gently cooked in small batches and quickly frozen to preserve flavor and nutrients at the peak of freshness without the need for preservatives.

Every child is different. We suggest trying a couple of different meal times to figure out your own feeding schedule. Take it slowly and you will find a rhythm that works well for you and your precious baby.
